(1) The Judicial and Legal Services Commission shall, after consultation with the Attorney General, appoint an attorney-at-law as the Special Prosecutor.
(2) An attorney-at-law appointed under subsection (1) shall have at least 10 years experience in the practice of law.
(3) The Ministry responsible for the public service shall, on the advice of the Attorney General, in writing, set the terms and conditions of the employment of the Special Prosecutor.
(4) For the avoidance of doubt, the Special Prosecutor is a public officer.
