A person who—
(a) commits an offence against this Act; or
(b) contravenes or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Act,
for which no other penalty is provided is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100 and, in default of payment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month.
